The Challenge

Mall Portal operate a number of shopping malls throughout Chile, they were looking for innovative ways of driving footfall and increasing consumer spending from key demographics.

It was also crucial that the Escape Room could be easily erected and dismantled as Mall Portal wanted to be able utilise the experience throughout a number of their shopping malls throughout the country.

The Solution

Challenger Escapes created a fully bespoke Escape Room to exacting client demands. Working closely with the client we created A Detective Gone! a story set in 1950s London in which a famous detective is missing, and the teams must discover his whereabouts before time runs out!

The experience was meticulously designed so the electronic puzzles installed were plug and play and then built into the set. This enabled ease of movement between sites for the experience whilst ensuring it maintained the look and feel of a high-quality, permanent Escape Room.

The first two months of A Detective Gone! sold out within 4 days and has continued to sell out at each mall since.
